Lila Nikole Collection formerly A Swimwear
Written by Yvette N. Coleman
Lila Nikole Collection formerly A Swimwear, founded by Lila Nikole Rivera, brings sass to swimwear with its exciting handmade collection. Lila graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2005. In 2007, Lila was enshrined into The Art Institute Hall of Fame as an esteemed alumnus.
Expect a stylish, exotic, and very wearable collection from LNC. The inspiration for the 2008 line is extremely strong and powerful women. Lila’s line is for the fashion fiend who commands attention in any surrounding. Each piece in the collection is designed by Lila in various styles and shapes and she boasts: “you name it, we have it!”
Lila uses natural jeweled pieces, wood chunks, rare stones and gems to
add to the unique flair that each suit carries. The Signature collection is made in various quantities and then its style is retired, making each suit a unique collector’s item. Lila explains: “I feel that my line is of the ordinary, we bring lots of style and creativity to pieces that women seek. We have a signature line that is limited and once the style sells out we retire the style. This allows the customers to have one of a kind pieces - - we also offer custom swimwear.”
Are there any trends that no longer make you smile?I am so tired of the same exact style being produced in different fabrics and constantly being out as a new collection.
Words of Wisdom from Lila:Be aggressive, work hard and make sure to stand out in the crowd.
The Amaya Swimwear Signature line has catered to the media and such celebrity models from America’s Next Top Model, BET’s Rip the Runway, Spring Bling, VH1's Best Week Ever, MTV's Wild’n Out, and E! Last Model Standing. Amaya Swimwear has been featured in numerous publications with great success as a luxurious cutting-edge product.
The price range is from $75 to $300.
