How did you start your company?I went to the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, while attending I enrolled in a swimwear class.. I made a few swimsuits and entered them in the school fashion show, the response was amazing. I won the segment for best swimwear and also sold the first pieces made. So I started a very bad and small web site. I started receiving orders from Kuwait and London. I couldn’t even figure out how they found my site.
Long story short, Lila Nikole Collection formerly A Swimwear was born.

Some of my celebrity clients are Kim Kardashian , Keyshia Cole, Trina, Rick Ross, Christina Milian, Vida Guerra, Rosci 106 and Park, Ja Rule, Benzino, and Jaslene Gonzales, Tocarra, Jade Cole, Bre, Nik Pace, Chamille, Bianca Golden of Americas Next Top Model
Where is your company located?
We are located in the sunny state of Florida. My design room is in Fort Lauderdale, but we are looking to open a store on South Beach very soon.
Why makes Lila Nikole Collection different from other swim wear on the market?
Lila Nikole Collection is a line designed for a fashion forward woman, someone who is not afraid to be an individual and craves item that are not your everyday boring suits. I love to embellish suits with natural crystals and us wild pops of colors. Overall, I have a very lively collection full of movement and creative silhouettes.
If you could have any celebrity wear your swim wear, who would it be and why?
I would love to see Eva Mendez rock the collection. She is elegant and sexy, graceful and a trend setter.
Can we expect a men's line?
Yes I make men's swimsuits on occasion but will definitely be branching into the Men’s line very soon.
Tell us a little about Lila Rivera?
I am 30 years old, I was born and raised in Queens, NY. My family descends from Ponce, Puerto Rico. I am blessed with a loving family and amazing friends (known as the Usual Suspects). I would describe myself as a leader, dare devil, adrenaline seeker, spontaneous, outgoing, live you life once kind of a person. I am very aggressive and determined when it comes down to business. I live and breathe Amaya. I am always looking to make something bigger and better. On the personal side, I am a single entrepreneur enjoying life and happy to wake up every morning feeling blessed.
