I was on Twitter browsing and stumbled across this young ladies page. From her Aquatic line, to Black Out, Electric Funk, Candy Rain, Rainforest, Graphix, Kaleidoscope and her Signature Line, her pieces are truly breath taking. I get tired of seeing the same style over and over again and it’s always a good thing when you stumble upon greatness. I keep telling you that the ladies run this and this young lady is just another great example. HHGBR: I am feeling your swim suits, very creative and stylish. What inspired you to start designing?Lila: I grew up in a fashion inspired environment. The women in my family are all very creative and my Grand Mother and Mother are both Seamstresses. It was natural to fall into the lines of Fashion. This is a creative outlet for me to express and enjoy.

HHGBR: How much time goes into each design?
Lila: The time factor varies a lot. Some of the pieces I can knock out within an hour, but most of the signature pieces take me forever! They are draped and hand made. It is a very detailed process but I enjoy crafting them.

HHGBR: How did you get started in the business?Lila: I went to a fashion school with the purpose of being a costume designer for productions and movie sets. I stumbled onto swimwear. Recognized that I had a talent that I was unaware of and naturally LNC was born into a business. Very much unplanned and a blessing in disguise.

HHGBR: How long have you been in the industry?Lila: I have worked in fashion for about 7 years. I worked as a stylist, set production, aerospace CAD designer, seamstress, and costume designer.

HHGBR: Do you truly enjoy what you do?Lila: I absolutely LOVE my job. I am able to work in the most amazing locations, I get to network with fun outgoing creative people like myself and my line is always featured in entertainment events, so that is definitely a plus as well. Plus I am the BOSS! And don’t know how well I would work under other people, lol.

HHGBR: Do you see yourself branching out in to other areas of fashion, or is swim suits your passion?Lila: Yes definitely! I am launching a store within the year that will cater to my custom clients, we will feature accessories, bags, shoes and children’s suits as well.
