When did you fall in love with FASHION?
I fell in love with fashion the day my grandmother taught me how to cut and sew my own dress. I was struck by the accomplishment of translating an idea into something everyone could see. I loved making things to wear for my friends and the freedom of expression it gave me. Fashion gave me to tools to do what i love most, helping people feel beautiful, strong and confident about themselves.
If you could work with anyone, who would it be?
I love working with different people, i do not have a specific favorite because to me its always a new experience. But if i had to choose someone i would love to work with it would be someone like Betsy Johnson who has lived thru and made many trends. I lover her fearless approach to fashion.
What was your most acomplished moment and shining glory? A moment that really sticks out to me was having a live fashion show on TV, it was crazy-stressful-scary and amazing all at the same time. The best part about it was how proud my family was.
Please give your advice to someone who wants to pursue your career. Never give up on your dreams, never underestimate yourself, never miss an opportunity no matter how small or insignificant it may appear, always be prepared, always be on time, always keep your word and always keep your focus.
